What to Wear

I thought this photo was on my blog in an earlier post, but I was wrong. I want to post this to show an example of how to properly use patterns when selecting attire for a photo shoot. Stripes and polka dots are always popular for toddlers, but they can be distracting in photos. It’s best to dress your tot in a solid top and use a pattern for the bottoms. This photo is so awesome that it is on my portrait business card (I have a separate one for weddings).

Congratulations Becky

Becky graduated from the University of Alabama on Saturday. I had the honor to document her party. On the 22nd, I am going to meet up with her for her graduate session. I’m so excited. She is a very fun person to be around. I imagine she will be a natural in front of the camera.

Ryan’s sister, Amber joined in a few shots. When coaching them on what to do, I said, “Just sit next to each other and act natural.” The quote of the day came from Amber when she said, “We don’t naturally sit next to each other.”
