Price is $110 for a 15 minute session 10 4×6 proofs 5 high res images for download and 25 single-sided Christmas cards. Download all 10 images for $40 more. Additional Christmas cards available at $10 per set of 10. Additional prints are also available.

If you have a Baby’s First Year plan, you may use either of the studio sessions for one of your plan sessions. All products including cards are extra.

A HUGE thanks goes out to Sarah for assisting me with this wedding. I wasn’t feeling well that day and literally couldn’t have done it without her!

Jesus said, “I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me.” Acts 4:12 says, “…for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Hmmm… so right there are 2 verses that eliminate universalist Christians. I’m not saying that Christians aren’t to live in peace with people of other religions. Jesus clearly teaches that we are to “love our neighbor as ourselves” and “pray for those who persecute [us].” But those verses do not teach that all religions lead to God. Some religions don’t even really have a god. Buddhist believe when you reach Nirvana, you simply stop exhisting. Muslims believe it is blasphemy to say God had a son. There is simply no way all of these religions can be correct. We can live in peace here on earth all we want to, but that will be the extent of it.

The dark shirts are have “John 15:18 / John 14:6″ just under the word “message.” Most of the white shirts have the actual verse written out on the back of the shirt without the reference on the front. Sorry, but Cafe Press doesn’t have a back printing option on dark shirts. The bumper stickers do not have the verse reference. There’s no way it could be read at a safe distance!

The guests benefit because they don’t have to wait between the ceremony and the reception. The photos are out of the way and the bride and groom can usually go straight from the ceremony to cake cutting. The bride and groom are also less stressed. They immediately get to enjoy the reception without having to rush through pictures. It is in my experience that when the bride and groom have their photos made after the ceremony, they are exhausted and their desire for photos has diminished. They are left with but a few photos of them as a couple.

It also makes the day much more special. Whose wedding day is it? It’s the bride and groom’s. They should enjoy it together. With the first look taking place as soon as the two are dressed, they can enjoy being together instead of hiding from each other.

Most people think having the couple’s photos made before the wedding will take away from the sentimate of the aisle walk. Not only is that false, but it also provides for not one, but two special moments. As the bride comes down the aisle, it will be special to the groom no matter what. Having a first look creates another special moment and those emotions are carried into the photos.

So how does a “first look” work? Once the bride and groom are dressed and ready to go, the location for the first look is cleared of any onlookers. The groom gets in his place and waits for his bride. Once the bride reaches her groom and I’ve snapped all the photos I want, the couple is left alone for a few minutes. It’s a great way to ease the stress of the wedding day.

Here is my favorite first look that happened just two weeks ago.

Jonathan and I have tossed around the idea of adoption for over a year. During the past few months, my desire to adopt has grown. I recently began asking God to put the same desire in Jonathan’s heart as well, if He (God) in fact had this in his will. Out of the blue a few weeks ago, Jonathan brought it up in a more serious conversation.

For the past 2 weeks, we have been researching adoption. At this point we aren’t sure which type we will seek (still praying for guidance), however, adoption through DHR or foster care doesn’t seem to fit with us. That being said, the adoption won’t be cheap.

I am humbled and amazed at how God has worked out the timing of my business growing to align with the start of the adoption process. But even still, money must be raised.
