Before I am anything, I am a Christian.
1 Peter 4:10 says, “Based on the gift they have received, everyone should use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God.” God has given me the ability to document precious moments in time and it is my duty as a Christian to use it to bless others.
I try to put God first in all my decisions. Often I fail. I know that no matter how hard I try, I can never earn God’s favor. Jesus paid the price for my sinful acts. I trust that through his blood, God will forgive me. No, this doesn’t mean I don’t have to try and do right. When someone loves God/Jesus he turns from his sin and does his best to obey.
Have you broken God’s moral law?
Have you ever told a lie, even a small “white” lie? The Bible says you are a liar.
Have you ever hated someone? The Bible calls this murder.
Have you ever looked at someone lustfully? The Bible calls this adultery.
Have you ever used the Lord’s name in vain? The Bible calls this blasphemy.
The Bible says “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.” James 2:10
All of us are guilty of murder, adultery, blasphemy, idolatry, and stealing.
Will God punish you or forgive you?
The only way to get forgiveness is to accept Christ and turn from your sins.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; all things are made new.” 1 Corinthians 5:17.
